Day 27

Josepf is spending the night with Trent and I tonight -- therefore I will write this entry while in the bathroom. Today was terrible. I could not get money. I have NO CASH. I had to borrow 400 crowns from a woman I met 20 minutes earlier this afternoon. Her name was Olga. Also, mom is upset that I am traveling alone. I called dad to ask for some advice. He helped me straighten out the finances as well as advised me to call home once a day. I had called earlier at 5:00 AM in Randolph. I will call again on Saturday. I am going to miss my last day of class. I didn't go today either. Anyway, I will miss not being able to say good-bye to Mrs. Adamokova and Mrs. Slesakova. They were my first teachers here in Ostrava. The others -- I don't now them very well.

Mrs. Adamokova and Mrs. L... I can't remember them very well...

I leave for Normandy at 10:44 AM tomorrow. Will my good / bad luck run true?
