Day 26
It is 12:35 in the morning and I tried to call mom and dad. They were not home yet. I started to make arrangements for my trip to France today. It will cost $300 to go as far as Caen Normandy via Paris - Nuremberg - Prague - Ostrava. It will probably cost over $400. That leaves me $100 for spend on my MasterCard while in France. I feel a lone being taken out in the future.
As for the trip, I only hope the money will get here in time. That is the only drawback. The lack of funds to purchase a ticket.
After long delays with the university, we finally received our meal tickets. IT IS ABOUT TIME! Melesky didn't even know that we went over his head to get them. He told us it would be another two days to arrange for them. Two minutes later, he was handing them to us.
WHAT A FUCK UP.
Anyway, I only have one week left of school. I will be on vacation soon and my real experience will begin: Czech college life.
The second half of the school day went fine. I wrote a complaint to Nic about the frustrations with Trent and how he is treating me. I then found out that my MasterCard was paid in full or at least will be soon. I read a note from Alexia -- her second email so far. She asked me to send her a postcard from Paris.
I also made arrangements for my stay in Caen. When calling the hostel, I met a few Czech students. I was able to speak to them. It made me feel great. I could express myself and understand them in return!
